A tender has now opened for the Oxley Priority Development
Area (PDA), with the state government releasing a demolition tender.
Minister for State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and
Planning Cameron Dick said he strongly encouraged the private sector to get
involved in this exciting opportunity to work with the state government’s
specialist land use planning and property development unit, Economic
Development Queensland (EDQ).
“Preparation works including the
removal of any asbestos materials and service disconnections will be planned
and managed with the utmost care and safety on the site prior to demolition”,
said Mr Dick.
